  Daily Itinerary        
Day 1 Hotel Bellavista Puerto Varas
 
Arrive into Puerto Montt's airport where you will be transferred to your hotel in nearby Puerto Varas on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, with a view of 3 volcanoes. Then you will have an all-you-can-eat lunch near Puerto Octay on the other side of the lake before visiting the German village of Frutillar and strolling through its open-air colonial museum. Remainder of afternoon free to explore the shops, restaurants and inviting lakeside "beach" in Puerto Varas.
Day 2 Skorpios II Cruise Chiloe Archipelago
This morning after breakfast you will take a transfer back to Puerto Montt to embark on your 6-night cruise aboard the Skorpios II. At 11:00 a.m. you sail from the Puerto Montt Skorpios Terminal and navigate through the archipelago of Llanquihue. You will have a sighting of the city of Calbuco before sailing through the Ancud Gulf, the Chiloe archipelago, and then crossing the Corcovada Gulf at midnight.
Day 3 Skorpios II Cruise Hualas
 
Around 8:00 a.m. you will navigate through the Moraleda & Ferronave Channels, arrival at Puerto Aguirre at 11:00 a.m. The stopover in this fishing village will be for one and a half hours. At 12:30 pm we continue, sailing through the Ferronave, Pilcomayo & Costal Channels. At approximately 9:30 p.m. we will anchor at the Hualas Fishing Village or Puerto Leopardes, 20 miles from the San Rafael Glacier.
Day 4 Skorpios II Cruise San Rafael Glacier in Tempanos Channel
This morning around 7:30 we furrow through the San Rafael Inlet and the Tempanos (iceberg) Channel. At 9:00 a.m. we enter the Lagoon and anchor 2 kms. off the Glacier, where we will stay until early next morning.
Day 5 Skorpios II Cruise North Perez Channel
 
At 7:00 a.m. we set sail in the direction of Quiltralco Fjord, to arrive around 8:00., when we will anchor at the Quiltralco dock. After breakfast you can take thermal baths in waters of 30º - 36ºC (86º – 97º F), in open-air and enclosed pools. If the climate permits, excursions in motorboats are available within the Fjord. At 7:00 p.m. we sail towards Chiloe, navigating through the Moraleda and North Perez Channels.
Day 6 Skorpios II Cruise Castro, Chiloe
 
Around 8.00 a.m. we navigate through the Leucayec Channel, we’ll have a partial view of the isolated island town of Melinka, in the Chonos Archipelago, an island that in times past was refuge to notorious pirates. Then we will cross the Corcadova Gulf and sail along the east coast of Chiloe, anchor and view optional, if the climatic conditions permit, in Quellon or Queilen & continue navigation through the Yal Canal and Castro Inlet, arriving at the beautiful city of Castro at 9:00 p.m.
Day 7 Skorpios II Cruise outside Puerto Montt
 
After breakfast, passengers can visit the handicraft markets, the museum, the Church and walk along the streets of this picturesque city. Optional tours to the city of Chonchi, a distance of 18 kms. are available. 12:45 p.m. return to the Skorpios for 1:00 p.m. sail, where we will make it through the Castro Inlet and the Lemy, Dalachaue, Ouicaví and Cabuco Channels. At 9:00 p.m. we will have a farewell dinner.
Day 8 Hotel Bellavista Puerto Varas
 
We anchor at the Tenglo Terminal dock in Puerto Montt between 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. After disembarkation, you will have a transfer back to Puerto Varas, where today you have 2 options included in the program: (1) Half day whitewater rafting trip on the turquise waters of the Petrohue River (Level III). (2) Full day trip through the Perez Rosales National Park, Petrohue Falls and on to Lake Todos Los Santos, where you will take a catamaran across the lake, with unbeatable views of both the Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes, to Peulla, where you can have lunch (price not included) and optional activities before returning to Puerto Varas.

Optional Activities at additional cost, such as (a) Climbing up the Osorno or Calbuco Volcanoes, (b) Horseback riding and trekking around the Calbuco Volcano, (c) Photo Safari in Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, including drive up the Osorno Volcano, (d) Trekking in various National Reserves and Parks, (e) Sea Kayaking in the fjords of Reloncavi, (f) Kayaking on All Saints' Lake, (g) Fly Fishing (Nov-Apr), (h) Canyoning, and (i) Canopy.  Too many things to choose from!

If possible, whatever you do today, we would like to invite you to our house for a home-cooked meal.
Day 9 Hotel Bellavista Santiago - Home
Depending on the departure time of your international flight, you will either have a morning or afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight home, or wherever your next destination might be.
