Daily Itinerary
Day 1 Hotel Orly Santiago, Chile

Arrive into Santiago’s international airport where a transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel for the night. This afternoon you have the chance to see Santiago in detail through an afternoon City Tour visiting all the key sites, ending with an optional “Pisco Sour”, Chile’s national drink. Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 2 Hotel Cumbres Puerto Varas, Chile
Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to the southern city of Puerto Montt. Transfer for the short drive to Puerto Varas, the “City of Roses”, where you will check in your hotel with a view of the lake and volcanoes. You will have an afternoon trip up the Osorno Volcano or a tour around the west side of Lake Llanquihue, Chile’s 2nd largest lake, giving you an insight into the daily lives of the original German immigrants who began settling in this region during the 1850s. You will visit the lakeside towns of Frutillar with its open-air museum and then have lunch. Upon your return to Puerto Varas, you will have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to explore this quaint lakeside town.
Day 3 Hotel Cumbres Puerto Varas, Chile

Today you have a Full day trip through the Perez Rosales National Park, Petrohue Falls, a unique waterfall system through volcanic rock, and on to Lake Todos Los Santos, where you will take a catamaran across the lake, with unbeatable views of both the Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes, to Peulla, where you can have lunch (price not included) and optional activities such as hiking before returning to Puerto Varas.
Day 4 Hotel Rio Serrano Torres del Paine, Chile

Transfer to the airport outside Puerto Montt for your flight down to Punta Arenas, where you will begin your 5-night all-inclusive program. Your guide from Hotel Rio Serrano will meet you at the airport and provide your transfer (5 hours approx.) into the Patagonian Pampas, around the town of Puerto Natales on the Last Hope Sound, and up to Hotel Rio Serrano on the border of Torres del Paine National Park. After getting checked into your room you can have dinner and decide what excursions you would like to experience.

Day 5 Hotel Rio Serrano Torres del Paine, Chile
After breakfast in the hotel, you can try out one of the many excursions provided in the program, from half-day to full-day. One of the most popular is the Full Day Paine excursion. This trip includes the Administration center, the Grey Lake with views of the Grey Glacier, the Paine River, a one-hour easy hike to the Salto Grande waterfall, which drains Lake Nordenskjold into Lake Pehoe, then visiting Sarmiento Lake, Amarga Lagoon and the Paine waterfall before returning to the hotel. All full-day excursions will provide your box lunch.
Day 6 Hotel Rio Serrano Torres del Paine, Chile

For your second full day in the park, try your hand at a more strenous (and rewarding!) excursion, such as the full-day trek to the base of the Torres, or Towers. This difficult hike offers the privileged view that trekkers from all over the world come to witness. The trek takes you up the Ascencio River valley and into a forest of native southern beech trees and then up the morraine of where the Torres glacier once resided. The last section of the trail is the most difficult, but will end at the Torres Lagoon, with the towers so close you can practically reach out and touch them. After enjoying our box lunch in this unbelievable setting, we return to our van and back to the hotel for a well-deserved shower and hot dinner.
Day 7 Hotel Rio Serrano Torres del Paine, Chile
If you want a true Patagonia experience, join the horseback riding excursion offered by the hotel (2 hours riding). We begin from the hotel towards the stable of the Astorga family which will give us the equipment and the instructions to do this excursion. From there we will go southwest along of the shore of the Serrano River, arriving to the junction of the Grey and Serrano Rivers. In this excursion you could see the different colors of these rivers and at the same time the magnitude of the Paine Massif in its entire splendour. Then we will go east along the shore of the Nutria River, entering Notofagus (southern beech) forests. Here we can have the opportunity to see flora and fauna of the area. Once finished our excursion we will go back to the hotel.
Day 8 Hotel Rio Serrano Torres del Paine, Chile
For your last day in the park, there are numerous other excursions from which you can choose, including trekking, zodiac boat rides, van trips to visit different sections of this beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site and possibly fly-fishing, depending on the season. Whatever you choose, a hot meal will be waiting upon your return.
  Day 9   Santiago, Home

After breakfast and our farewells we will head back to Punta Arenas, ending the Torres del Paine experience. Have a safe trip home!
