Location

We are located only 7 miles from the beautiful town of Puerto Varas, on a small peninsula on the eastern shore of Lake Llanquihue (yan KEY way) in the heart of Chile's Lakes District. We are away from the crowds but close enough to enjoy all the numerous activities this area has to offer!

We are 45 minutes from El Tepual Airport in nearby Puerto Montt. Travel times:

   1 hour, 20 minute flight to Santiago,
   2 hour flight to Punta Arenas, for visiting Torres del Paine National Park,
   6 hour bus drive to Bariloche, in Argentina's Lakes District.

The House

The Huasi, or House, has only 1 guest room available, guaranteeing privacy and personal service. The room has a full private bathroom with tub and shower. You also have clear views of the Osorno Volcano and Lake Llanquihue.

We are located in a quiet, peaceful area with other houses few and far between, where the only sound you will hear in the morning is that of the Buff-Necked Ibis as they gather in the trees to begin their day. The property covers more than 3 acres, and is the home to a mix of endemic and introduced trees, shrubs and flowers.

You can easily reach the lakeshore, a long stretch of sandy beach, via a private road and walking path. The house is 600 meters (less than 4-tenths of a mile) from the main road connecting Puerto Varas with Ensenada, Petrohue Falls, and the famous Lakes Crossing to Bariloche beginning in All Saints' Lake.
